The defragmentation function scans Windows in searching for files that are not where they were suposed to be and retakes them and puts them into the right order. It is not a must for this option to be automatic and it can be dezactivated without a problem. But remember, to defragment your disk regulary at least once a month. For deactivation go to Start-Computer, right click on one of the partitions and select Properties. Select the Tools tab and click Defragment Now. Uncheck Run on a schedule and click OK.

3. Disable Automatic Windows Defender.
